I support the movement towards change in our community by doing and promoting anti-racism work. I stand in solidarity with protestors, healers, and community members advocating for justice. I believe that Black Lives Matter. I also recognize that racism in America extends far deeper than police brutality and the most recent unnecessary deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others. While I, as a clinician, work to be inclusive and supportive of my clients, I also recognize that simply providing a safe space is not enough. I am committed to continued activism, learning, listening, and educating in honor of my past, present, and future clients.
